““Our attitude towards life determines life’s attitude towards us.””

- John N. Mitchell

This quote is so perfect for anyone who has a negative look towards life. We are all humans, therefore we will make mistakes. Yes, you make mistakes. Plenty of them I am sure. No one is perfect, and you shouldn’t want to be. If you were perfect, you would be boring. When you make a mistake, you should pick your head up high and learn from it. That is the best thing you can do. Many of us are so ashamed when we make mistakes, that we do not learn from them. Mistakes are meant to happen, and you are suppose to learn from them, not do them again. Instead of dropping your head, pick it up and act like everything is fine. Instead of crying, laugh it off and smile to the world. I am trying to be a positive person, because if not, you will drown yourself in sadness. You have to stop worrying about the little things. The only thing worrying does, is ruin your happiness. If you’re always negative, bad things will happen to you more often than good. Everyone deserves a good life, and if your life isn’t how you want it to be, change it. It is never to late to change your life around for the better. Always remember that someone in this world loves you, and looks up to you. If you’re going to change, change for the better. Your attitude will affect so many things that you do in life.

almost a senior...

School is coming to an end, and I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by. I feel like it was just the other day when I was on my way to school as a freshman. Now ending my junior year, I can’t believe I have one more year left. It feels like as you get older, the years go by quicker and quicker. I guess what I want this blog to be about, is not taking things for granted, and embracing the time you have. Since kindergarten, I have spent my school years with the same group of people. What I mean by that is my class as a whole. Not many people have moved away, and if anything, more people moved into our district. It is truly amazing how many people have changed. Many people have grown apart, grown together, fought, made-up, lied to each other, and more…but yet we are still together as our senior year comes up. Us as juniors, and the class most favored by the teachers, and staff. We are hard working, caring, and honest to good students. Pretty much all of us, would do anything to help our teachers out, or help each other succeed. Time is something that many of us take for granted. We realize that we do this, after it is too late. As a junior (about to become a senior in 2 days!!), I realize that I have taken a lot of things for granted. As an athlete, I have taken for granted the talent that I have been blessed with, and the ability to play sports my whole life. Next year, this is it. It will be the last time that I put on and East Knox Lady Bulldogs jersey, with the number 11 on it. It’s amazing how I can still remember my first day of 7th grade volleyball. I actually can remember a lot of things about my sporting events. I remember every senior class that has left me, and I can’t believe that next year, I will be the one leaving. It’s amazing how time flies by and you don’t even notice it because you are so caught up in something else.
• Forgive…but don’t forget.
• Live your life to the fullest.
• Never give up.
• Don’t worry about what other people have to say about you.
• DON’T STRESS OUT ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS.
• Make new friends.
• Be nice to everyone.
• Work your hardest.
• Make someone truly proud.
These are some things that I think are most important in high school. I am excited to be a senior, but also very scared. Also, do not procrastinate. 
